The Thought Process is Chris Big Money's first attempt at releasing music. It was influenced by a former roommate who introduced Chris Big Money to electronic music.

The album, a full length album exploring the other side of the musical spectrum was created during a 1 year period from May 2008-November 2009.

The album itself is about the thought process of an artist's struggle to stay true to himself, or to make commercially bound art which mimics others around him. Many people want to create something to be left behind for everyone to remember them by, more and more people want to make this a career and life-long passion. With this passion comes temptation, and sacrifices which must be made. Are you going to make something that inspires you, regardless of what others will think of it? Or will you make something to inspire others, and sacrifice your own code of ethics and influences to make it? It is the idea of being marketable versus being truly artistic which bounds this first album.
